A new phase in Jamie Lynn’s life

After the controversial revelation of her pregnancy, Jamie Lynn Spears moves forward with her life as she passed her GED and can now think about college.

“The Zoey 101 star passed her high school equivalency exam about a month ago – scoring particularly well on reading comprehension – and is looking to take the ACT college entrance test, the friend says.”

This is one good news that the Spears family should celebrate. And haven’t you noticed how this ‘trash family’ soon finds light after their dark moments with Jamie’s teen pregnancy and Britney’s life dramas?

I sure hope, along with the rest of the world, that this would be a new beginning for Jamie and her family. After all, Brit has just been granted a time to visit her kids, right?!

So whether Jamie attends college while pregnant or give birth then attend college, either way is a good start in picking up the pieces in her.

Christina proves she is indeed a diva

Have you ever wondered where and how the phrase “diva attitude” came?

Well I have no idea, too. I’m guessing most celebrities share this gene that’s why they are where they are right now.

A classic example of this star with one great diva attitude is Christina Aguilera.

Yep, the new mom has reportedly thrown tantrums and fired her assistant and publicity firm (in that order) upon learning that the issue of People featuring photos of her and her new-born son, Maddox has had poor sales. It was reported that the magazine paid the diva over $1.5M for those pictures but sales failed short by about 100, 000 copies.

What an attitude, huh?!

Some thoughts here for Christina, the public love controversies more than new-born babies. So unless you shave your hair or get yourself some upskirt photos, you’ll never get that soaring high sales.

And the Oscars go to…

The 80th Academy Awards would probably be the “it” event in Hollywood for the year as it gathers all the brightest stars in the movie industry. However, I must admit that despite all the glitters and shimmers of this event, I haven’t really been a follower until I decided to make blogging a career.

Finally, Brit gets reunited with sons

Indeed, life is not that bad for Britney after all.

After getting in and out of the hospital these past weeks and daddy Spears took charge of her assets, it may seem that the world is really hard on the Pop Princess. However, Brit sees light after she was allowed to spend time with her sons for three hours with her sons, Preston and Jayden.

After lawyers for Spears and Kevin Federline reached a visitation agreement friday, the pop star saw her children Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, for the first time since Jan. 3.”

This is good news. And Britney has to thank her father for taking charge of everything quite so well.

Hopefully this would inspire Britney to straighten her path and become a better mom from now on.

Johnny Depp for Rolling Stone

My oh my, if one can use the word HOT in an illustration then this would be it. – Johnny Depp on the cover of Rolling Stone.

With those eyes that can seem to melt like laser and such chest that spells promises, it’s no wonder more and more women swoon over this deadly looks of a pirate. No wonder, too he’s consistently voted as People’s Choice Favorite Male Movie Star for four years now.

Doing Rolling Stone, hot pirate talks more about his musical career and bits and pieces about his musical film, Sweeney Todd.

Awwww… Isn’t Johnyy adorable? I might want to change my name to Lily Rose now to claim that tattoo on his chest.

I love you Johnny!

It’s double the joy for JLo and Marc

Finally, another celebrity is added on the list of Hollywood’s latest moms, next to Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie, Jennifer Lopez just gave birth to twins early Friday.

With the world closely watching the Latina’s pregnancy, it’s safe to say that finally, she and singer husband, Marc Anthony are now proud parents of a boy and a girl.

“Lopez representative Simon Fields told People magazine the babies were born shortly after midnight on New York's Long Island, with the 5-pound, 7-ounce girl arriving first, followed by her 6-pound brother minutes later.”

Twins for Jen’s first?! Hollywood sure seems to be expecting a handful of twins this year; here’s JLo, then soon, Jessica Alba, and Angelina Jolie. What a party!

To JLo and Marc, Congratulations for your healthy twins!

Hep Alert for Ashton and friends

Alert! Alert!

Guests who attended Ashton Kutcher’s 30th birthday party at Socialista, a trendy bar in New York are now being urged to get a Hepatitis A vaccination as one of the party’s bartenders was infected.

No, they haven’t been Punk’d. This one’s for REAL.

Among the A-listers who attended the party were Bruce Willis, Madonna, Lucy Liu, Gwyneth Paltrow, Liv Tyler, Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart, Salma Hayek, Roberto Cavalli, and of course the celebrant and his wife, Demi.

Woooo… What a scare!

Well if it is of any consolation, Hep A is a less serious form of Hepatitis; won’t kill but would usually just keep you in bed for a couple of weeks. But can you actually imagine these stars stay in bed for weeks?!

Weeeehh!!!! Isn’t this great, a celebrity Hep scare?!!!

Cruz Beckham’s Fame Moment

Now, this is what cute is, Cruz Beckham stealing the limelight from the Spice Girls with his breakdance!

With the Spice Girls having their last night for their final Madison Square Garden show, they had with them their very special guests to join them as they perform their song, “Mama” (the song I consider the best song for mothers ever!). – Their children. The Spice children were made up of Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz (also known as the Beckham kids), Bluebell (Geri’s daughter), Angel Iris (Mel. B’s), and Beau (Emma’s baby).

While Mommy Posh Spice and her other Spice friends were busy singing and showing affection to their beloved children, Cruz managed to get the center of everyone’s attention as he did a breakdance in front of everybody. That is of course to the much delight of her mom.

Wow! That isn’t just cute, that’s soooooooooooo ADORABLE!

Lindsay Lohan tries to look like somebody else

Minus all the controversies like the rehab and jail thing, I guess it’s safe to say that most girls would surely love to be in Lindsay Lohan’s shoes. While the young actress may be notorious for getting in to the skins of some Hollywood vets as mentioned on my previous post, it’s still undeniable that La Lohan lives the kind of life everybody would want. – Beauty, fame, and fortune!

Having this kind of ‘privilege’ it’s a bit odd to know that LiLo still wants to look like somebody else… at least in photos.

Appearing for the cover of New York Magazine, Lindsay does a remake of Marilyn Monroe’s nude photo shoot, “The Last Sitting”.

46 years ago, the famous sex symbol and actress (who died for drug overdose) did the shoot with photographer Bert Stern. Now, with the same photographer, Lindsay Lohan tries to relive the moments of the famous celebrity.

See if Lindsay’s was better than the original…

I’m taking a break from entertainment

If only for this day, please allow to me to talk about something far from the pop culture (at least technically). Well since Saturday night, I have been really upset and of course sad that I (along with other freelancers) am not anymore needed for the web directory I am working on.

It was of course a lamentable news. For one, I considered that job my bread and butter; my blood and water. It used to be my savior from various debts. Now, I am just one of those who would badly need bad credit loans.

Sigh, it is at least a consolation to know that more and more people in the US are considered as “bad credit” consumers like me.

However, it is at least good to know that for people like us, despite being tagged as such, we have someone or something that would help us recover financially. I guess this is where bad credit offers come in. With the site allowing visitors to compare offers from major providers, one can surely be assured of getting the best for their needs.

So whether credit cards, auto loans, home loans, or personal loans, Bad Credit Offers is an easy resource!

I guess with help like this, life ain’t that bad after all.

Lindsay Lohan pisses another Hollywood veteran (again)

Pop icon, Lindsay Lohan’s probably making it a habit (at least unintentionally) of ticking off older Hollywood personalities. Last Thursday, Oscar-winning actor and director, Clint Eastwood was reported to be enjoying a pleasant dinner in Los Angeles when the young star along with her pals arrived and seemed to have spoiled his moment.

Sources say that the veteran actor looked really upset that he kept glaring over Lindsay’s table.

Do you think Clint so wanted to ask LiLo and friends already if they could just go home and play online casino rather than go out and ruin his good time?

Well in any case, it was obvious that the Million Dollar Baby star wasn’t pleased of the paparazzi that seem to have come with Lindsay. Well if I were Eastwood, I would probably have given La Lohan a list of the best online casinos so she and her friends can just have their place to have fun.

It was once reported that LiLo was getting under the skin of Hollywood vet like Jane Fonda and director Garry Marshall – both of whom denied the report – during the shooting of the young actress’s 2007 flop flick, Georgia Rule.

Hollywood stars shine brighter through Vanity Fair

If you are a huge Hollywood fan or someone interested in seeing interesting photos of some of Hollywood’s biggest (and freshest) celebrities, then Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood Issue is just right for you.

The issue, which hit the newsstands last Wednesday, featured some relatively young and fresh faces in Hollywood like America Ferrera of Ugly Bettly, The Devil Wears Prada’s Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams of Enchanted, Jessica Biel, Alice Braga of I am Legend, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Banks, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Juno star Ellen Page.

Like so…. WOW! I guess anybody can afford to set aside playing
online casino games or finding the best casino sites if only to get hold of this rare issue.

This spectacular cover marks Vanity Fair’s 14th year of gigantic annual Hollywood issues which started in 1995 that showcased 10 alluring beauties of the mag’s three-page foldout cover.

Inside the issue are other glamorous photos of some of Hollywood’s biggest and brightest stars that include Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Chris Rock, Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, and so much more! This probably IS the issue of the year!

Heath Ledger's cause of death now confirmed

Probably one of the things that brought sad news to me in Hollywood was Heath Ledger’s sudden death last January 22. As a fan I believe that actors with so much potential like Heath are big loss in the entertainment industry. That time, Heath’s death was suspected to due to drug abuse.

Well that was two weeks ago. Now, just days after Heath was buried, the New York City’s Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed that the actor’s death was caused by an accidental mixture of prescription drugs. What?! I thought he died due to excessive playing of online casino games?

According to the report, Heath died due to the acute intoxication combining the effects of Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Diazepam, Temazepam, Alprazolam, and Doxylamine.

Hmmm… I honestly don’t know exactly what those words mean but I understand that Heath died for excessive intake of prescription drugs. Well at least the report also mentioned the manner of the death as accident; at least we know Heath really didn’t commit suicide, right?!

Paula Abdul taking Brit’s footsteps

Well hopefully she doesn’t turn out to be as crazy as Brit. But with Paula’s Super Bowl performance, it somehow puts you into thinking if she’d ever get into American Idol audition with that show of “talent”.

Watching the video, I think the show was just horrendous (as Simon often say)! It was downright ugly!

The song she lip synched entitled “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow”, was rumored to be sung by another person. Whaaaaat????!!! Choreography wise, I guess Paula’s a bit losing the magic, too. Tsk tsk tsk… Now this isn’t good for an AI judge.

Anyway, although the choreographer and singer seemed to belied her job titles, I guess it’s still a consolation that hers was actually better than Brit’s VMA performance, right?!

Here’s the video of Paula’s terrible performance… Enjoy!

Britney’s Dad takes a new role

Well poor Britney… no boyfriend, no sons, and now away from her fortune.

As the diagnosed bipolar singer is undergoing to a yet another treatment, the court ruled that her father Jamie Spears and a lawyer will be the one to take control on the singer’s affairs, including her $40 million fortune.

Reports said that until February 14, Brit’s dad will remain as the co-conservator of her estate. And despite the singer’s “strong desire” against this, the decision has become final.

Now I guess instead of getting well, this will just make Britney more and more sick (but isn’t she already?). Too bad for her, dad wants to be in the rescue. I suggest she get a speedy recovery to get back to her fortune fast.

Spice Girls’ splitting up… again

I was actually one of those hundreds (even thousands) of people who rejoiced when the Spice Girls reunited after nine years of being a disbanded girl group. Of course, I used to be one of their biggest fans way back on my sixth grade. With their reunion, I was hoping for a bigger and longer entertainment with THE Spice Girls.

However, I guess I would have to settle entertaining myself with rugby news now that the Spice Girls announced their temporary break.

Yes, after their big comeback as a group, the Spice Girls composed of Victoria Beckham, Geri Haliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B., and Mel C. are taking a pause (that’s hopefully just for a while) to return to their respective families and individual commitments.

The last three months, the girls have completed doing (sold out) shows in Europe and in the US. But unfortunately the tour will have to continue until the girls decided to have another “reunion”.

Now am sure a lot were sad with this news….

Ed Simons dumps Lilly Allen after miscarriage

Men are definitely sweet most of the times, but there are also times when they can be such a jerk and insensitive morons.

Take Ed Simons for example. The 37-year-old Chemical Brothers star reportedly dumped 21-year old singer girlfriend Lily Allen who just had a miscarriage with their supposedly first child.

"They tried to make things work but couldn't. The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them - and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained,"

“Lily is really upset things haven't worked out for her and Ed. She had talked about settling down for good and having a family.” Reports say.

I guess the “6,000-dollar-per-night holiday in the Maldives ain’t that enough to make the relationship work huh?! Like duh! So he was disappointed with the miscarriage, but Lilly should be the one to be really broken. With their big age difference, most people would assume Ed’s mature enough to be Lilly’s crying shoulder.

This kind of news really pisses me off!
