Will Britney Spears get her second chance on stage?

Most people, if not all, say that everybody deserves a second chance in life. In Britney Spears’ case, will a second (third, fourth, and fifth) chance do magic in her deteriorating career?

Well I guess Brit should start getting herself hair restoration in philadelphia by Dr Pistone now as rumors have it that the (has been) pop princess and new aunt to Jamie Lynn’s newborn daughter, Maddie Briann will have an encore to her disastrous 2007 MTV Video Music Awards performance this year.

Now you might be one of those who’ll react negatively to this, as the thought of her performance last year still sends shiver and disgust to me actually, but if Brit will really get her second chance on stage for MTV is a sure win-win situation to both parties. Of course Britney will have a yet another so-called chance to prove she still got it while MTV will have the ratings again.

But really, do you think Britney will be able to redeem herself from that hideous intermission number last year? Do you believe she still has that ‘magic’?

It’s Always Good to Have a Musical Boyfriend

Since the server of the blogging network I am working with has been down for more than a week now, that also goes to say that it has been more than a week that I haven’t written about our dear heiress, Paris Hilton.

Curious as to how far I’ve already been left behind keeping up with the latest of the famous/infamous socialite, I just found out that Paris is already working on the theme song of her upcoming reality TV show, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. And if that is not enough news, her boyfriend for four months, Good Charlotte guitarist, Benji Madden is helping her out doing the song.

Of course we all know that Paris just didn’t have the musicality in her. But having Benji by her side, who knows he can do some magic with her girl’s ‘lack of talent’. But aside from their physical features (considered one of the most perfect in this world), you know the other thing that makes this couple special? – Their good hearts.

From doting parents to their children, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh Nouvel (biological daughter), Pax, and their coming twins, the two has also been actively involved in various social issues, both domestically and internationally.

And today in People magazine, it has just been reported that the couple is donating a whooping $1million to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict to help the American and Iraqi children suffering from the war.

Now, this isn’t really something that we should be surprised of. This is after all not the first time that the Jolie-Pitts threw their millions for charity. It’s not a wonder why these two are among those that make website user experience strategy better for bloggers like me.

Britney’s little sister gives birth to a baby girl

Hear ye! Hear ye! Here’s another name you should add to your celebrity baby names list this year, Maddie Briann.

Who is Maddie Briann? Well she’s the newborn baby girl of Britney Spears’ little sister, Jamie Lynn and her partner, Casey Aldridge.

The 17-year-old Zoey 101 star who became controversial for getting pregnant at a very young age finally gave birth last Thursday (June 19) at a hospital in Mississippi to a bouncing 7 pounds, 11 ounces baby girl.

Baby Maddie Briann joins the roster of celebrity babies this year that include Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s Harlow, Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman’s Max Liron, and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s Max and Emme.

Whew! That’s quite a number of names there and about a number to come, too including the coming twins of superstar couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

I am just glad Jamie Lynn has finally given birth and is set to start a new phase of her life. Wishing her all the best in motherhood.

Talking as if she didn’t just come from the pains and inconvenience of being pregnant, Christina Aguilera has been talking about her desire of having more babies.

Yep, the new mom who says motherhood makes her feel sexy just told Extra that she is so looking forward to giving her son Max some brothers or sisters soon.

I wonder what her husband, Jordan Bratman has to say about this.

Christina may be one of those who think being pregnant in Hollywood is the in thing. Like a huge tummy is some accessory. I think Christina should start working on her enormous boobies first.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Yes We’re Expecting!

After Ashlee Simpson and her husband, Pete Wentz have denied speculations of the first’s pregnancy, the newlyweds seems to have ‘taken-back’ what they just said and confirm that indeed, they are expecting their first child.

In Pete’s website he writes,

“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child.”

“This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”

Now this is one of those news that could really send me rolling my eyes. Like what does this pair expect? People jumping for joy as they finally just confirmed what they’ve just denied?! Surely they know that the people are smart enough to have known all along.

I just couldn’t stand why they have to go through all the dramas of denying then confirming in the end. You think Ashlee and Pete just waited to be married to make things less… controversial?!

Is George Clooney back to being a bachelor?!

After months of painting the town red by being in-love, rumor has it that George Clooney and his girlfriend for a year, Sarah Larson have split up.

However, the actor’s rep, Stan Rosenfield would not comment on the issue saying, “We do not comment on George's personal life.”

George and Sarah met in Las Vegas almost four years ago and went out in public as a pair at Venice and Deauville film festivals in September last year.

Now if that rumor has any truth in it, then it’s sad news since I really thought (and hoped) that Sarah’s the one for George.

It seems like yesterday when American Idol’s Season 7 begun; thousands of idol-wanna be’s flocked the various audition cities in the US and millions from all over world tuned in to witness the search for the next American Idol.

And now, the search is over, David Cook wins!

After outlasting 11 contestants and going neck-to-neck with young David Archuletta, the 25-year-old Texas-born rocker has captured the hearts of the American people and won by 12 million votes (a world record!).

This sure is one good day for me! I am close to tears watching a teary Cook singing his victory song, Time of My Life. I’ve been jumping in glee upon his ‘proclamation’.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren: Just Married!

Now here’s another couple to add the list of Hollywood’s newlyweds of 2008. – Jessica Alba and Cash Warren.

Yep, after getting engaged for five months, the mom-to-be and her long-time boyfriend has been confirmed by People to have gotten married last Monday in the Beverly Hills courthouse's ceremony room.

The wedding was said to be casual that both Jess and Cash were just clad in a casual clothes; the Fantastic 4 star wearing “a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail” and Cash on a white shirt and brown pants. Aside from the two of them, nobody else was reported to have attended the wedding.

Well I understand the two wanting to keep their getting married a secret (just like Beyonce and Jay-Z). I guess aside from Paris Hilton stars now just want to take a break from the media especially if it concerns their private lives. And as a fan of Jessica Alba I truly am happy for the star who’s now a wife and soon to be a mother.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi to get married

Well it looks like Hollywood is in for a red year as more and more stars tie the knot (Ashlee and Pete, Mariah and Nick) if not get engaged. Here’s another pair to add the list of the “two less lonely people in the world.” – Ellen DeGeneres and her long time girlfriend, Portia de Rossi.

In an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the host who just turned 50 announced the big news just after the “California's Supreme Court struck down a law banning gay marriage.”

The two began dating in December 2004.

Well until our cable was up, I wasn’t really too aware who Ellen is. But as I started watching her show, I am always in awe with her brilliance in hosting and stand up comedy. And while I used to be really prude with this matter, I really wish all the best for Ellen and Portia.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tie the knot

After the much-talked about engagement (ring and pregnancy rumor included), pop singer Ashlee Simpson and her Fall Out Boy boyfriend, Pete Wentz finally tied the knot last Saturday in an intimate ceremony.

Ashlee was said to have worn a Monique Lhuillier (go Pinay!) ivory lace wedding gown and jewels by William Noble as she exchanged vows to Pete in front of 150 guests in her parents area home. Her sister, Jess served as her maid of honor.

Now speaking of Jess, I hope the newlyweds don’t turn out like Jess and Nick Lachey’s failure marriage after their much-celebrated wedding (and a reality TV show that came after that). And now that they’ve tied the knot, I guess all we have to do now is wait till a baby bump comes out. ***Grins***

Parvati Shallow is Survivor Micronesia Winner

As a big Survivor fan, I must say this season is by far the best one I’ve ever seen in the show. Women dominated and outwitted the men, blindsides now and then, number of injuries jut kept arising, and of course a love affair that blossomed. Surely, "Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites" is one season I can never forget.

And as the season closed last Monday (Philippine schedule) I was a bit disappointed yet satisfied with how the season ended. Well of course I would’ve want Amanda to win the title as sole survivor but then again the girl didn’t have the talent to talk it out to the jury. And so she was outlasted by her good friend, Parvati Shallow who took home the title and won the $1million.

What I couldn’t forget most on the show was the way Ozzy faced the two on the final tribal council and professed his love for Amanda. I love Ozzy but I love him more for that. I can’t help but scream in joy with that mushy scene. Super!

Well it used to be my man Ozzy, the man who can do everything, but then he got booted out two weeks ago for being so dumb not playing his idol (blunder!).

My thoughts:

Eric: We all know the only reason Eric’s still on the game is because of Ozzy so I guess his only hope to make it to the finals is if he gets hold of the immunity necklace for long.

James: I would absolutely love to see James winning! For me, he’s the only one among those remaining castaways who played a clean game. I love him (next to Ozzy)! However, I think he’ll be the one to be sent home for another injury.

Amanda: I think Amanda’s game play has always been to be a tag-along. If it worked for her the previous season, I don’t think it will still work now. This girl’s just got to learn to stand on her own.

Parvati: Oh the she-devil. She’s actually this devious already in Cook Islands, although she hasn’t had the chance to make it that far on the game. I think this time the luck’s on her.

Cirie: I would never want to see Cirie winning. From the start, she’s always been cunning and scheming.

Alexis: Girl power to the max! I must say Alexis is a strong contender to become this season’s winner. She’s playing a good combination of physical and social strategy.

Natalie: I just hate Natalie’s guts. Plain and simple.

Joel Madden is back in the arms of Nicole and Harlow

Unlike his twin brother, Benji, Joel Madden probably had a tough time being apart from his 3-month-old daughter Harlow and partner Nicole Richie for their band’s European tour. Well it sure is hard performing for the Good Charlotte whilst you are thinking about your new-born, right?!

But thanks for some break, after a month traveling throughout Europe, Joel is back in Los Angeles to make up time with his baby Harlow and Nicole.

The happy family was spotted making their way through the LAX airport yesterday with baby Harlow having that loving gaze for her Pa. Awww…

Wonder where they are heading?! Hmmm… I hope they’ll head to New York and check out the various NYC Attractions there. You know, just the three of them getting themselves a guided tour like the CitySights NY and enjoying the sights and the company of each other in New York City.

Can you imagine baby Harlow enjoying a helicopter ride or spending time with her mom and dad via a Manhattan cruise or double decker sightseeing? That would sure be a lot of fun!

Well I know I’m getting a bit too excited with this family’s get-together. But I just can’t help being glad to see this family complete after a month or so of being apart from each other.

I wish they have fun with this little break.

Is Ashlee Simpson Pregnant?!

After lovebirds, Ashlee Simpson and rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz announced their engagement several days ago, rumors have it that Jessica’s little sister may already be expecting a baby now.

This speculations went stronger when Ashlee was pictured from LAX airport that somehow ‘seems’ to be hiding a baby bump. Or is she?!

Well to answer back these rumors of Ashlee being knocked up, her future husband wrote an email to MTV today that said:

“There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood. This is all news to me. I can't wait for the story about how I'm really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. ... I mean really, this is crazy. ... I mean we're engaged, that's true, and happy about it.”

You believe him?! Is she or is she not?!

Well I must say Demi is one helluva lucky girl for having such gorgeous and not to mention young husband. I love the cover although it made me notice his not-so-perfect nose. Oh well, with a face and body like that, a little flaw will be alright.

Unlike her usual glamorous and I-am-fashion-icon kind of covers, this latest issue of Gwyn is probably a promotional one for her upcoming film, Iron Man which will be released on May 2. Resting her elbow on an Iron Man mask, it sure is a promotion!

I also think this cover has just had too much of Photoshop done on it as Gwyn just looked so skinny and almost ghost-like.

I saw this video on YouTube pertaining to a coming episode of Oprah show on May featuring gifted children probably from all over the world. In my surprise, I saw Charice Pempengco on the teaser! Dang! This girl is definitely on her way to stardom!

First, on Ellen DeGeneres Show, and now Oprah?! FYI, Oprah’s the number 1 show in the world! Anyone who guests on appears on this show is most likely to get famous. And with Charice’s brilliant voice, this would be it!

For a 15-year-old this Pinay sure has a very bright future ahead of her in terms of international success.

I may not be a big fan of her but I sure am proud of all her success and recognitions. Of course she brings with her the name of my country. Congratulations girl! Keep up the good work!

Celebrating his 82^nd birthday with a style, Playboy father Hugh Hefner was joined by his girldfriends Kendra Wilkinson, Bridget Marquardt, and Holly Madison at the Playboy Club in Las Vegas.

After unveiling his own table at the club, the playa pimp was then greeted by fans and wellwishers.

Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson works together for the new James Bond film

No, they aren’t the one to play in the movie. But superproducer Mark Ronson and English songwriter and singer Amy Winehouse are teaming up to write and record the song to be featured in the new James Bond film.

The song to be included in the 22^nd Bond movie, Quantum of Solace would probably be the biggest song in these two’s careers.

Yet, if I may be really honest, until this post, I actually do not know who Amy Winehouse is. Well I’ve heard her name and saw her photos on various blogs I bump into but I didn’t really care reading those news about her. Why? It’s just that her beehive hair and eccentric look ain’t something that interests me.

But I guess I’m interested now.

Anyway, back to Amy, I really do hope this break would be a good diversion from her self-destructive behavior. With her brilliant talent, it’s a pity that she’s just turning herself into a poster girl for drug abuse.

You see, despite having all the success in her music career, Amy has always been looking disturbed and “suicidal”. I guess being a chronic drug abuser that she is brings her a life that’s so uncelebrity-like; chaotic and so unattached. I know she’s been to a rehab to help her get over this but if it really didn’t help much, she should try seeking help at Renaissance Malibu. The healing center and treatment facility is established especially to people like Amy.

Although I’m not a fan of this ‘sicko’, I really hope she gets through this and continue moving forward with her career starting with this Bond break…

Beyoncé and Jay-Z wedding takes place today (?!)

Flowers and candelabras delivered in front of Jay-Z's Tribeca apartment building in New York City earlier today? What could this be?

After the lovebirds, Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z went to Scarsdale, NY to get a marriage license it wouldn’t be a surprise that the two are finally exchange their vows now.

Sources tell People that “A lot of their friends are booking hotel rooms.” Earlier today, workers erected a wide white tent atop the building and 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand was also ordered for a ‘big party.’

Well if this ain’t a wedding ceremony, then I don’t know what is. This should really be it, huh?!

Naomi Campbell says ‘tata’ to jail

After being arrested yesterday for spitting on an officer at terminal 5 in Heathrow airport, supermodel Naomi Campbell was released from jail on bail.

This isn’t actually the first time that the Naomi was put to jail. In fact, she’s been in and out of it a lot of times that people would think she’s enjoying the feeling to be in prison.

According to reports, Naomi was just too upset when two of her bags were lost when she was on a British Airways flight bound for Los Angeles. British Airways then decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and called the police officer to eject her.

Well I guess we can’t blame Naomi to be too upset for this. Even those who’ve had anger management courses would still be pissed with this kind of service.

Keanu Reeves is back for Street Kings

Among the hunks and cuties in Hollywood, I must say that it’s with Keanu Reeves that I actually grew up fantasizing with. Since high school I’ve already been following his movies and swooning over his charisma and sex appeal.

Anyway, after some rest in the big screen, my ‘first love’ is back with his latest movie from Fox Searchlight, “Street Kings”.

The movie is about veteran LAPD cop, Tod Ludlow played by Keanu who finds investigating quite difficult after the death of his wife. When evidence points at him in the murder of his fellow officer, Ludlow is forced to go up against the cop culture that he’s been a part. This then leads him to question the loyalties of everyone around him.

Interesting story. I’d definitely catch this movie as soon as it’s shown here.

Anyway, other stars in the film include Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, and Chris Evans (the cutie guy in Fantastic 4).

Ramiele Malubay voted out in American Idol

I have never really been a big American Idol fan. Although I must admit the only time I had so much fun watching the show was when two Filipinas, Jasmine Trias and Camille Velasco made to the top 12. Well, that and now, since another one from my country made too for this season in the person of Ramiele Malubay.

Sadly, after a month in the finals, the petite 20-year-old was eliminated from the contest last night. Doing her rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind” I guess America agreed to AI judge, Simon Cowell when he said Ramiele’s performance is forgettable.

Sigh, this is really a sad news for me. But of course she’s already famous on her own. Making it to the finals is already big enough.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have seemed to be together like forever. So a news about them getting married wouldn’t be something that would surprise the world.

Tuesday, April 1, 2008, the two were spotted arriving at Scarsdale Village Hall shortly after it opened to get their marriage license.

“It was just the two of them,” A source of People relays.

“They were very polite and smiling as they filled out the paperwork. They were holding hands for a while. They looked really happy.”

Well now that the papers are already ready, we’ll just then have to wait for the exact date as the two of the music industry’s biggest stars exchange vows. Although I must say Jay-Z is one lucky guy to have with him such beauty like Beyoncé. Yeah, I’m probably one of those who think that the then Destiny’s Child singer is just way too beautiful for Jay-Z. ***Peace Man***

Matilda Rose not Heath’s sole heir?

Heath Ledger sure was and still is one famous personality as even in death intrigues and speculations still follow him. Just two months after his death, speculations now emerge that the Brokeback Mountain actor may have secretly fathered a love child when he was a 17-year-old school boy.

This report was actually claimed by the actor’s family.

“Ledger's uncle, Haydn Ledger, yesterday confirmed there was a ‘real possibility’ his nephew had fathered a girl with the woman.”

Now if this possibility becomes a reality, the thing that’s sure is that Matilda Rose, Heath’s daughter to Michelle Williams will have to split her multi-million dollar estate inheritance with Heath’s alleged love child.

Lucky child, huh?!

Oh No They Didn’t!

Here in the Philippines, when a reporter commits false reporting, the journalism term used is kuryente. In the case of Star Magazine’s report pertaining to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s supposed wedding, this word would sure fit as sources like People, Ok!, and Us magazines report that no wedding ever took place in New Orleans or any other place for that matter.

According to a source of Us Magazine, “Bottom line, they aren't even in New Orleans.” So this just makes the report from Star an oh-so crap one.

Anyway, tied or not, I guess Brad and Ange are already happy together with their family. The “wedding” would just have to be something to feed the hungry media.

And as for Star, this kind of news should be taken cautiously.

Please Tom, take care of Katie

I must admit that I am one of those who probably grew up watching Katie Holmes bloomed and blossomed in Dawson’s Creek. And when I learned about her marrying Tom Cruise, I was really glad and thought that she’s lucky to have caught the heart of the top gun.

However, as time pass by, I’m beginning to wonder if Katie made the right decision of marrying such a high-profile celebrity.

In an article of Star, Katie was reported to have collapsed while having lunch at L.A.’s Joan’s on Third.

“Katie may never admit it, but sources say her superstar husband may be contributing to the debilitating headaches. His high energy is often hard to keep up with — and that, paired with her intense need to live up to his expectations, is really taking its toll, both mentally and physically.”

I guess having Tom as a husband is one helluva pressure.

Poor, poor Katie. And what is Tom actually doing about this? Gee, it might be such a nightmare having a husband who only thinks about social status and considers his wife as some award to brag about. Moron!

First, she was placed inside a big bag with only her ugly legs and shoes revealed. Now, this?!

I don’t know if Victoria Beckham’s gone mad already or Marc Jacobs’ just hate her so much that they really want the worst of her. Not so Lenten with Jennifer Lopez and her Twins

Hello Pop-C-Clers! Today is a Holy Thursday. To us Roman Catholics, this day ought to be very solemn and be taken as a time to recall and remember the sacrifices of Jesus Christ. While I really intend to make a special Lenten post today on this blog, I couldn’t help myself writing a JLo related post instead when I saw the latest issue of People featuring her and her twins, Max and Emme.

Pardon me if I went a little bit away from the Lenten mode, but darn one need not have to have an $ 8 Zenni Optical Rx Eyeglasses to see how Jennifer Lopez was airbrushed to hell for this cover!

Halle Berry gives birth to a baby girl… finally

Two days ago, I was browsing over some entertainment blogs and I saw this photo of Halle Berry with a super big belly visiting a friend in California. I was about to write a post about it and ask when she’s giving birth since her pregnancy looks so forever. Well I guess I need not write about that anymore.

The Oscar, Emmy, and Razzie winner finally gave birth yesterday at 10:17 a.m. at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital to a healthy baby girl.

This is her first born to 32-year-old model, Gabriel Aubry.

But wait, what’s the baby’s name?!

Sources say that the couple hasn’t thought of a name yet. Come on!

Anyway, congratulations guys!

Steve-O learns from his experience

“I did a great deal of damage to my brain (with drugs and) now that they've all worn off, I'm facing the consequences.”

Are we hearing remorse there? Because surely, Steve-O do really sound like he’s really sorry for not taking care of his health.

Actually, although I may sound so knowing there, truth is, I’ve never heard of the guy until now that he hit the news for a 72-hour psychiatric hold in the hospital. I had to do a little research to get to know this controversial guy.

Born Stephen Gilchrist Glover, I’ve learned that Steve-O is in fact a famous personality known for being such a daredevil with his reckless behavior and outlandish stunts on the TV series Jackass.

Having fame for this kind of behavior, I guess Steve-O took being such a jackass seriously that he also got himself so hooked in to drugs. Sadly though, he now realizes that life is all about karma. – What goes around comes around. And using his own words, “an ironic 'eye for an eye' situation”. Now he’s ripping the ‘fruits’ of his self-destructive behavior.

Gee, 72 hours in psychiatric hold and now been reported to be extended to 14 days, what would Steve-O do there? He really should learn from this and take no more drugs but Tamiflu.

Well at least Tamiflu could help him if ever he gets influenza. With Oseltamivir as its active ingredient, the medicine sure is great against flu virus.

Poor Steve-O, now all he can do is inspire the others to be NOT like him.

Harry Potter conclusion movie to be split into two flicks

If you consider yourself a fan of Harry Potter, then this news is for you.

According to sources:

The “Harry Potter” books may be complete, but there are still three full length films coming, to make a whopping eight Harry Potter movies in total. The movie version of the sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be in theaters at the end of this November. And the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which was chock full of plot that sped by at a breakneck pace, is going to be split up into two films in order to cover all the stuff that happened. (Rowling has not definitively ruled out another book, saying “I will not say never, but I have no plans to write an eighth book.” She later clarified that if she did write another book it wouldn’t be for at least another 10 years.)

So is this good or bad news? I guess I’ll go with the first. For people like me who wasn’t able to read any of the books, I think it’s great to have a film version that would cover a wider grasp of the things that happened. And who knows? I might as well get encouraged to start reading the books.

After all, all I need is a little curiosity and encouragement.

Pop Fiction strikes again

We’ve all been witness to how Paris Hilton played the public’s interest when she walked and talked with a ‘holy man’ who was actually an actor. Now we all know that was just a part of Ashton Kutcher’s latest show, Pop Fiction where the celebrities turn the joke to the media.

Obviously the stars strike again; this time Mario Lopez and Eva Longoria who punked the media as the first was seen giving the Desperate Housewives star a Cartier necklace while eating together.

Believe me, this one is soooo lame. Like, duh! That putting on the necklace thing was obviously a desperate act to really pull off the prank.

Animated Britney looks better than the real

Are you one of those people who are already tired of seeing the same old brand new Britney

(read: notorious)? Well this would be good news for you. Britney Spears’ latest music video will feature a totally different her. – An anime!

The video featuring Brit’s upcoming single, Break the Ice will show a futuristic superhero of an animated Britney clad in a bodysuit.

According to The Sun,

“The cartoon treatment was Spears's idea and based on her steamy Toxic clip.”

Woooo… this would be really steamy hot! Something that people missed from the real Britney. That said, I guess Brit should just settle to be an anime. At least as one, she’s sexy, she’s hot, and she’s SANE.

Well at least for the latest campaign of Calvin Klein underwear.

The 35-year-old Academy Award-winning actress flaunts those sexy curves with her black and white photos taken by Steven Meisel for the Calvin Klein ads. And quite amazingly, HilarySwank looked absolutely hot.

Being the award-winning actress that she is, I never really thought or at least imagined Hilary to have this sexy and hot side. No offense to Swank but I never thought she’d fit perfectly for an underwear ad. I hardly recognized her with those photos; really beautiful.

Hilary is now among the fashion line’s top celebrity endorsers that include Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Fergie.

Who’s the cutest baby in Hollywood?

I know this wouldn’t be the first time to feature four of Hollywood’s most famous celebrity babies. But just for the heck of it, let’s try to join the fun. Well I wouldn’t be asking who’s the cutest among them since I believe all babies are (relatively) cute. Rather let’s try to check who among Dannielynn Smith, Violet Affleck, Suri Cruise, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt possess that star appeal and charisma of a celebrity?

Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead (nee Stern)

Known to the public as Dannielynn Smith, this cutie baby is the daughter of tragic model/actress Anna Nicole Smith. While most celeb babies were born in a relatively sheltered and ‘peaceful’ setting, Dannielynn has already been in the headlines for various controversies and a paternity case. This 18-month-old baby is a star in her own rights being the sole heir to the Anna Nicole Smith estate.

Her appeal to the media would most likely be due to her being a “poor-baby-who-just-lost-her-mother.”

Violet Affleck

Being the daughter of actor parents, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, this 2-year-old darling captured the public’s heart with her charming smile and love for animals. I think among the three featured celebs here, Violet is the one living a little less of the celebrity life.

Suri Cruise

If truth be told, I think the 23-month-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Suri, is one of the most beautiful babies I’ve seen in my life. Being a Hollywood baby, Suri has also been a subject to paternity controversies.

Mostly seen shopping with mom, Katie, I guess Suri has the making of a future fashion icon.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt

While the previous three celeb babies take everybody’s attentions as their parents’ first born, Shiloh share the limelight with her adoptive siblings, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara (with an addition member/s of the family coming on the way).

Having parents like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who are big Hollywood stars of their own, Shiloh would probably be the celeb baby most chased and haunted by paparazzi.

Weee… what a children’s party we have, huh?! With more and more of these celeb babies coming, the Hollywood is surely getting bigger for beautiful people.

Christina Aguilera loses over Nicole

It’s battle of the “Mother and Child” covers in People with Nicole and baby Harlow versus Christina and baby Maddox. This, however is a bad news to singer Christina Aguilera as she was obviously beaten bad by then trashy celeb, Nicole Richie in terms of sales.

Oh no! This is bad news to Christina, who’s she going to fire this time? To recall, the 27-year old diva threw tantrums and fired her assistant and publicity firm upon learning that her People cover with son, Maddox didn’t sell that much. Uh-oh, guess drama outwits glamour.

According to MSNBC:

“There’s also a greater element of curiosity with Nicole. She’s gone public about being a heroin addict. Her boyfriend is covered in tattoos. By default, she’s got the more interesting baby. People want to see how she settles down. They want to see what kind of baby someone with her background has.”

People love drama, remember?! Maybe Christina should just bring the “competition” in terms of record sales. Too bad, Nicole can’t sing. **Grins**

Drew throws a million dollar away

Nope, it’s not for her shopping spree or for some fancy possession; it’s for D-O-N-A-T-I-O-N!

That’s right. 33-year-old actress and Ambassador Against Hunger, Drew Barrymore is donating a whooping $1 million to the World Food Programme to help feed marginalized children in Africa. Now this is one great and noble news; probably better than hearing how the Philippine Peso is getting stronger.

Anyway, Drew, who’s blooming and inspired these days made the big announcement on Oprah Winfrey Show with her sweetheart, Justin Long watching with the audience (sweet!).

In the interview, Vogue’s latest cover girl has this to say:

“I have seen with my own eyes what a difference a simple cup of nutritious porridge can make in a child’s life,” Drew said. “It helps them learn, stay healthy and sets them on track for a bright future. I urge everyone — everywhere — to help WFP ‘Fill the Cup’ for hungry children, and make hunger history.”

Awww… Charlie’s charming angel sure has a soft heart for children. So I guess it’s not just Orlando Bloom who’s paying it forward, huh?! What Drew has here is one big leap in making change. Well let’s hope more and more of those A-listers do the same and help make this world a better place.

A new phase in Jamie Lynn’s life

After the controversial revelation of her pregnancy, Jamie Lynn Spears moves forward with her life as she passed her GED and can now think about college.

“The Zoey 101 star passed her high school equivalency exam about a month ago – scoring particularly well on reading comprehension – and is looking to take the ACT college entrance test, the friend says.”

This is one good news that the Spears family should celebrate. And haven’t you noticed how this ‘trash family’ soon finds light after their dark moments with Jamie’s teen pregnancy and Britney’s life dramas?

I sure hope, along with the rest of the world, that this would be a new beginning for Jamie and her family. After all, Brit has just been granted a time to visit her kids, right?!

So whether Jamie attends college while pregnant or give birth then attend college, either way is a good start in picking up the pieces in her.

Christina proves she is indeed a diva

Have you ever wondered where and how the phrase “diva attitude” came?

Well I have no idea, too. I’m guessing most celebrities share this gene that’s why they are where they are right now.

A classic example of this star with one great diva attitude is Christina Aguilera.

Yep, the new mom has reportedly thrown tantrums and fired her assistant and publicity firm (in that order) upon learning that the issue of People featuring photos of her and her new-born son, Maddox has had poor sales. It was reported that the magazine paid the diva over $1.5M for those pictures but sales failed short by about 100, 000 copies.

What an attitude, huh?!

Some thoughts here for Christina, the public love controversies more than new-born babies. So unless you shave your hair or get yourself some upskirt photos, you’ll never get that soaring high sales.
