Some money-making idea

I’ve actually been in to the blogging world since about eight months ago. Well as someone looking for some extra cash doing posts like the celebs’ latest fashion hits and misses or news and gossips in Hollywood, it’s not that bad, really. An extra bucks for something you enjoy doing is really not bad at all.

However, blogging is actually just good for a sideline; I don’t really recommend it as a main source of income. If you really want to make something big online, then I certainly suggest you engage in some online business.

It’s a given, people love convenience. And what better way to get convenience but through the Internet, right?! Now, since the competition online is also stiff in the real word, here’s a tip: Get a good shopping cart. Uhuh! This would be your edge in the competition.

Getting yourself an ecommerce software that would answer just anything and everything you’d need to get your business running online is like assuring yourself a good flow of business and income ahead. With a stable business and increasing income, I don’t think you’d still need some sideline.

My heart bleeds for Heath Ledger’s death

I am certainly taking my time doing this post not just because it’s news-worthy, but because I am (also) a big fan of this Australian actor.

January 22, 3:30pm, Heath Ledger was found dead in the bedroom of his Soho Apartment in Manhattan for a possible drug overdose.

“Ledger, who was in bed, did not respond when they shook him, and the housekeeper called 911. He was pronounced dead at 3:45 p.m. ET.” People reported.

The 28-year old actor fathers a child from Dawson’s Creek star, Michelle Williams.

Sigh… What a sad sad news this is for an actor that seems to have so much ahead for his Hollywood career. I’m betting the next Batman movie would really sell for this news. (FYI: Heath plays the joker in the movie).

Keiffer Sutherland’s over with 48

My boyfriend’s quite a big fan of 24. So I guess he along with other fans of the TV show would be interested to know that the show’s lead actor, Kiefer Sutherland has (finally) been released from jail after serving a full 48-day sentence.

The 41-year old actor was arrested in September 25, 2007 for DUI charges. “He was pulled over at around 1:10 a.m. in West Los Angeles, where he tested over the state's legal blood alcohol limit and later released on $25,000 bail. On December 5, 2007 he was sentenced to 48 days jail.”

Wow, pretty tough for Keiffer huh?! – The bail and getting in to prison. He’s still lucky though, $25,000 was nothing for him. If it were for ‘normal’ people, it would’ve been a HUGE amount for them. Can’t seem to imagine where I’d get that sum if ever I was on his place. Sell my belongings, borrow from friends, or get myself some payday loans (that would be an emergency situation!).

Well lesson learned, don’t drink and drive; if you can’t, just don’t get caught. ***grins***

Now, let’s get those writers’ strike over with so we can get back to 24!

Jessica’s filling her shopping cart

While I’d do everything to meet and greet Orlando Bloom, I’d probably also do everything to be Jessica Alba (I wish!). I am really a big fan!

Anyway, the newly-engaged and mother-to-be was spotted shopping for furniture for her new home with Hollywood-renowned interior designer, Kari Whitman. Jess then later on headed to Harmony Lane to prepare for an appearance in the Sundance Film Festival.

You know, stars like Jessica really amaze me. As famous celebs, it’s a wonder they still have time to personally shop for their homes and their wardrobes. I mean you know she could’ve easily asked somebody to do the shopping for her, do a phone call, or just do the shopping online.

Well I guess the latter would require her to pick an online shop that offers real convenience. An online shop equipped with a good ecommerce software.

Good deed from a pirate

It’s no news that I have this HUGE crush on Orlando Bloom. I soooo love him that I’d probably do anything (and yup, everything!) just to meet him!

So when I stumbled upon this photo of him in Nepal for a charity work, I know, this has just to be in THIS blog.

With his role as an international ambassador for UNICEF, Orlando, 30, visited an ethnic Tharu children and women at the Sayapatri Community Organization in Nepal.

Wearing flower garlands and a red “tikka” mark on his forehead as a symbol of being welcome, (the love of my life) Orlando sure showed having a great time helping and just being with the locals.

It’s just really good and heartwarming to see big stars like Orlando share and do something for a good cause. Well I guess that’s how a ‘real’ pirate should be.

And if only for that kiss from Orlando, I’d love to trade places with the kid. ***sigh***

Idol getting boring (?!)

The search for the next American Idol has just begun.

January 16, Wednesday, the world has witnessed the premiere of Season 7 of the American Idol. Well I was only able to catch the last half of it. But I still think that the audition part is my most favorite in the show (yep, more than the finale).

As usual nerds, weirdos, ordinary, and extraordinary all lined up to show off their talent (sometimes hideous ones) to get the chance to be the next AI.

But while the return of the show remained on the top list, sources say that its premiere has relatively fewer people who tuned in compared to the previous seasons. Hmmm… is this a sign that more are slowly losing interest with the show?

Well maybe the writers’ strike could help with the show’s ratings.

Well that is at least on this blog as Pop-C-Cles takes a break from the Hollywood’s latest to give way to a “special piece of advice” for bloggers.

Cameron saddened by report about Justine and Jessica B

Wearing a gloomy and a not-so-sexy look while walking down New York streets, it seems that 35-year-old actress, Cameron Diaz have read Ledger Pop Journal’s report about ex-boyfriend Justine Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

As the report says, the pair is still going strong after nearly a year of being together. “The duo spent the first part of the holidays in Tennessee with Timberlake’s relatives. After catching up on a little family time, the pair rang in the New Year snowboarding at the Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado, reports People Magazine.”

Asked for the secret of the two’s romantic success, “Jessica’s not threatened by other women, which has been something Justin has struggled with in the past,” says a friend. “Also, he always asks her opinion of things; they definitely make a lot of decisions together.”

So does that mean Cam was an insecure one? Oh, that better be something… Well I guess that was more on the age thing, right Cam?!

Christina Aguilera introduces new man of her life

After nine grueling months of being a pregnant celebrity, Pop Diva, Christina Aguilera finally introduces (another) love of her life, Max Liron Britman.

Despite reports that Christina Aguilera gave birth last Friday, the 27-year-old singer actually delivered her baby Saturday, 10:05 p.m. Christina and husband, Jordan Bratman welcomed their first born, a baby boy weighing 6 lbs., 2 oz. and was 20.5 inches, with all joy and happiness .

"Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I as we welcome our first son into this world," posted Christina on her website.

What a priceless gift this is for Christina and Jordan… Congratulations guys!

A Handful of Hollywood Celeb Babies

Finally, Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera have bid farewell to pregnancy and said hello to being celebrity moms.

Nicole Richie gave birth on Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to a baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden weighing 6 lbs. 7 oz.

“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents.” The couple’s rep reported on People.

Meanwhile pop diva Christina Aguilera also went on labor, Friday and was also rushed at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Hmmm… ain’t that a star-studded delivery at the hospital?

Well it’s not just Nicole and Christina who gave birth to another list of celebrity babies in Hollywood. Actress Courtney Thorne Smith and David Alan Grier’s wife also delivered their babies today.

Wow! What a handful of babies that is… Congratulations, mommies!

Avril wants to play the guessing game

Well it has been rumored that newly wed Canadian superstar, Avril Lavigne is a month and a half pregnant with their first child of husband, Deryck Whibley. However, a rep of the 23-year old star just issued a brief statement that the rumor of Av’s pregnancy is “not true.”

Hmmm… Is the photo below showing a baby bump or just an ill-fitting clothing?

So is she? Or is she not? I guess we’ll all going to find that out in days or weeks to come.

Victoria for Marc Jacobs

It’s amazing how product campaigns go these days. They can be too serious at times, but they can also get, well… humorous.

Take for example Marc Jacobs latest campaign for its Spring ’08 ad featuring Posh Spice herself, Victoria Beckham. Yup, that’s her. Surprised to see she’d fit in a bag? Or much more surprised that she’d wear ugly shoes and open her legs too much? Oops!

Posh Spice tops worst dressers list

86-year old fashion critic, Mr. Blackwell has just released his list of this year’s “Hollywood's biggest fashion offenders.” And guess who tops the list this year? Victoria Beckham.

Asked why the self-appointed fashion icon topped his list, "[She wears] skinny-mini monstrosities." Mr. Blackwell explained. Well I guess Posh wasn’t too posh enough for Mr. Blackwell for topping his worst dressed list.

Wooo… Doing this kind of list for 48 years now must have been pretty tough. But I guess he’s gentler for sparing Britney Spears. Too bad for Vic, her ‘unique’ and ‘bold’ sense of fashion didn’t pass the taste of Mr. Blackwell. Don’t worry; you’re number 1 on Mr. Beckham’s heart anyway. ***wink***

Can’t get enough of Britney?

Well if you are one of those who can’t seem to move on from the drama caused by Britney Spears’ hospitalization, then this is your chance to re-live the moment.

And here’s a timeline of “the” event (courtesy of Us Magazine.com):

7 p.m.: Britney is scheduled time to hand over custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 15 months, to Kevin Federline’s bodyguard.

8:30 p.m.: Police arrive at Spears’ Beverly Hills home after being called about a “custodial dispute,” LAPD officer Jason Lee said. Shortly after, Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, arrives.

9 p.m.: Kaplan leaves Spears’ home. Spears’ lawyer — who filed a request to be released from representing the pop star Wednesday — Sorrell Trope, tells Us: "In a normal case when someone shows up with a certified court order saying the kids need to be somewhere else, the police see to it that the order is obeyed. But that is in a normal case."

10:08 p.m.: News helicopters hover over Spears’ home. Officer Jason Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department told City News Service that Spears appeared to be under the influence of an "unknown substance."

10:50 p.m.: The fire department arrives. LAPD Officer Jason Lee tells Us: "The officers are still there. They are trying to resolve this peacefully and legally, according to the court order. They've been there since 8 p.m., and it is in regards to Britney Spears’ custody battle."

11:05 p.m.: Paramedics take a gurney and a backboard into Spears' home. CBS reports a mental evaluator was also called.

11:25 p.m.: An ambulance pulls into Spears' driveway, parking behind her car.

11:50 p.m.: An ambulance carrying Spears and other emergency vehicles leave the scene; it's reported that Sean Preston and Jayden James are taken to Cedars Sinai as well to be evaluated.

12:40 a.m.: Spears arrives, via ambulance, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. (Police had erected screens to shield her from waiting photographers.) Federline and Spears pal Sam Lutfi soon arrive separately. Around time of mom's arrival, son Jayden, sucking on a pacifier, is carried into the emergency room by a police officer.

1:10 a.m.: Britney's father Jamie arrives.

3:45 a.m.: A hospital source confirms that Spears remains under observation as a "special needs" patient.

4:15 a.m.: Paparazzi follow a car carrying Jayden James and Sean Preston to Federline’s Tarzana home.

Zac Afron and Vanessa Hudgens call it quits

For once let’s get it over with Britney and her “craziness”. Anyway, let’s get in to business with something latest about one of Hollywood’s young couples, High School Musical’s Zac Afron and Vanessa Hudgens a.k.a Zanessa. Well it has just been reported that the two are finally over.

Well to put it clearly, it was Zac who was said to have broken up with Vanessa… over the phone!

Oh, poor Van, after her naked photos scandal, now a boyfriend who wasn’t so man enough to break it up at least formally. Well at least she has proven that Zac is indeed such a “ninny”.

Britney Spears loses full custody of children

Unfortunately, despite the drama that caused all the talks in TV and the Internet last night, it turns out that the California Superior Court isn’t just a fan of Britney Spears as she just lost her child-visitation rights Friday.

Following Britney’s 72-hour lockdown for a mental evaluation, the court just awarded her ex-husband, Kevin Federline the “sole legal custody and sole physical custody of the minor children.”

The written ruling after an emergency hearing further says that Britney’s “visitation with the minor children is suspended pending further order of the court.”

Oh, poor, poor, poor Brit… See, dramas just don’t work!

Britney Spears wheeled to the hospital

Oh Britney, Britney, Britney… too many Britney on the net and on TV. But I guess nothing gets more dramatic than the latest news about her. – Hospitalized.

Yep, in case the news haven’t reached you “Britney Spears was hospitalized late Thursday night after the pop star locked herself in a room with one of her children at her L.A. home and refused to hand him over to ex-husband Kevin Federline.”

It was found out that Britney was due to turn-over her sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, Thursday at 7 p.m. Kevin’s bodyguard was supposed to pick up the kids but the pop star refused to turn-over the kids.

“According to police, officers responded around 8 p.m. to a call about a custodial dispute regarding Britney Spears's children.” People reported.

Furthermore, “While officers were on the scene, they observed Ms. Spears under the influence of an unknown substance.”

And if it weren’t just an ordinary drama, there came fire trucks, two ambulances, and a police helicopter that surrounded the place in addition to the multiple officers.

Wow! This would surely win Best Drama in a Reality! Boo... I mean GO BRIT!

Oh no, I guess it’s really an uh-oh year for the (then) Pop Princess, Britney Spears as her latest lawyer just dumped her (again).

Sorrell Trope, from the high-powered firm of Trope and Trope, “filed a request Wednesday to withdraw from the singer's custody case, court documents show.” People reported.

"There has been a breakdown in communications between (Spears) and Trope & Trope (law firm) making further representation of her interests impossible," says the report.

Whew! Wasn’t that just September of last year when her then-lawyer, Laura Wasser quit on her as well?

So what now, Brit? I guess no one cares now even if you’re “Britney, b*tch”?!

Belly and the Lips

Is JLo trying to look like Angelina? ‘Coz she really looks like her; well at least her lips do. Has anybody told Marc Anthony’s behalf that getting lip injections aren’t just good during pregnancy?

Anyway, minus the now-super-pouting lips, I think JLo’s looking more and more amazing on her pregnancy, I really do hope she’s carrying twins (wouldn’t that be so adorable?).

Seen in New York a few days before Christmas, the Latin superstar has just displayed her growing boobsies and baby bump over an expensive coat. Oh… pregnant celebs, how the world do they manage to still look good with their big tummies?!

Paris and Kev: A possible match this 2008

While Britney’s busy spending her New Year with her new beau, a paparazzo who sources say to be married, her ex-BFF, Paris Hilton and ex-husband, Kevin Federline have been partying for three nights in a row.

Celebrating the New Year, “the pair was seen at LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas for the New Years Eve party hosted by Paris and her sister Nicky. The two were seen laughing together at the Lax venue, while K-Fed kept calling out Paris’s name from behind the mic.”

Hmmmm… Are we smelling romance as a kick off for this year?

Well I guess Kevin’s been showing a better taste than Brit, huh?!

Keira hailed as top beauty icon

Although her “scary” look topped the list for Celebrity Fashion Watch’s worst in 2007, Keira Knightley was still crowned as 2007’s beauty icon.

The 23-year old actress topped the “poll of 2,500 people conducted by UK high street chain Superdrug, seeing off competition from actress-and-model Kelly Brook, supermodel Kate Moss and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham.”

Well with Keira’s aloof glamour and beauty, it’s not a wonder she outwitted even the high-maintenance type of beauty that Posh Spice have.

The top 10 comprised of British women, while Paris Hilton was voted the number one overseas beauty icon.
